Best Time to Visit
Spring (March–May) – Famous for cherry blossoms, mild weather and vibrant festivals. One of the most popular times to visit.
Summer (June–August) – Warm to hot temperatures, lush green landscapes and exciting festivals like Gion Matsuri. June can be rainy, but July & August are lively.
Autumn (September–November) – Stunning autumn foliage, comfortable weather and fewer crowds than cherry blossom season.
Winter (December–February) – Perfect for skiing in Hokkaido, soaking in hot springs and enjoying snowy landscapes. Also less crowded in major cities (except around New Year).
